Terms of Service
DriverHotspot SA — operated by Tmansolution, South Africa
Last updated 23 September 2026
1. Agreement
By using DriverHotspot SA (the “app”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please stop using the app. The app is operated by Tmansolution (“we”, “us”).
2. Licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own transport, driving or booking activity. This licence does not transfer any ownership to you.
You may not, without our written permission:
- copy, clone, rebrand or resell the app or any part of it;
- scrape, harvest, mine or bulk-export demand data, area scores, driver listings or reports;
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive our source code, data models or scoring logic;
- remove, hide or alter the Tmansolution watermark, branding or copyright notices;
- use the app or its data to build a competing product or service.
3. Intellectual property and copyright
All content in the app — including the name DriverHotspot SA, the Tmansolution name and marks, the design, layout, code, icons, copy, demand-intelligence scoring, area datasets and aggregated report data — is owned by Tmansolution or licensed to us, and is protected by South African and international copyright law.
Unauthorised copying, distribution, public display, adaptation or commercial use is prohibited and may lead to account termination and legal action.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the reports, tips, profile details and photos you submit. By posting them you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and share that content inside the app so other users can see it — for example showing your report on the demand map or your profile in the driver directory. You confirm you have the right to post what you submit.
5. Accounts, drivers and verification
You must give accurate information and keep your login secure. Drivers must hold the licences, permits and insurance required by South African law for the transport they offer, and must keep their documents current.
Our verification step is a document check, not a guarantee. We do not employ drivers and we are not a party to any transport agreement between a driver, passenger or employer. Trips, fares and arrangements are made directly between those parties.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not file false demand, traffic, safety or SOS reports.
- Do not use the panic/SOS feature except in a genuine emergency.
- Do not harass, defraud, threaten or discriminate against other users.
- Do not interact with the app while driving in an unsafe manner.
- Obey all road traffic and e-hailing regulations at all times.
7. Safety features
The panic/SOS feature broadcasts your details to other signed-in users of the app. It is not an emergency service and does not replace calling the South African Police Service (10111) or emergency services (112 from a mobile). Delivery depends on your device, GPS and network connection and cannot be guaranteed.
8. Payments
Where subscription payments or other fees apply, amounts are shown before you confirm. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Please read the Paddle Buyer Terms and our Refund Policybefore purchasing.
9. No warranties
Demand scores, hotspot suggestions, traffic information, earnings estimates and route times are predictions based on historical patterns and user reports. They may be wrong or out of date. The app is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee earnings, availability or uninterrupted service.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Tmansolution is not liable for lost income, fuel costs, vehicle damage, injury or other indirect loss arising from your use of the app or from any interaction with another user. Nothing here limits rights you cannot waive under South African law.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account for a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, abuse of the SOS feature, false information, intellectual-property infringement, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the app and request deletion of your account at any time.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
13. Contact
Questions, copyright complaints or takedown requests: contact Tmansolution through the app.
